Integrative Oncology Outpatient Clinic
We also offer naturopathic and mind-body medicine counseling and treatments on an outpatient basis:
- Initial naturopathic consultation
During our first joint consultation, a specialist with additional qualifications in naturopathy will outline naturopathic treatment options after a detailed medical history. Together, we will develop a therapy plan. - Naturopathic treatments
To alleviate the side effects of oncological therapies as well as acute or chronic complaints, we use compresses with essential oils, aroma sticks, rubs, massages, Gua Sha treatments, cupping treatments, ear and body acupuncture or acupressure, neural therapy, and the targeted administration of naturopathic preparations (such as mistletoe). - Initial mind-body medicine consultation
Mind-body medicine (MBM) utilizes the interaction between the body, thoughts, feelings, and behavior to promote your self-healing powers and support you in coping with the illness. In this consultation, individual approaches to a health-promoting lifestyle will be developed with you. - Individual lifestyle counseling
In specific illness situations, additional individual counseling in the areas of nutrition, exercise, and stress management may be necessary and useful. - Psycho-oncological counseling
Upon request, the psycho-oncology team is available to support you and your relatives. They provide emotional support and help you deal with fears and burdens. The main goal is to rediscover or newly develop and use your personal skills for coping with the illness. The content of the conversations is based on your needs. Possible burdens could include:- Acute crisis – e.g., after receiving a diagnosis
- Coping with the illness
- Fear of disease progression
- Changes in body image
- Fatigue
- Art therapy
Through creating with colors and shapes and the accompanying therapeutic conversation, you can strengthen your self-efficacy and find strength and orientation within yourself during difficult phases of life. Artistic skills and prior knowledge are not required to experience the effectiveness of art therapy. Art therapy is offered as individual and group therapy. - Family project “Taking a heavy load off small shoulders”
Our family project offers counseling and support to families with children up to the age of 21 in which a parent has or had an oncological illness. Relatives can also contact the colleagues of the family project with concerns and questions.

Integrative Oncology Day Clinic
A central therapeutic element of Integrative Oncology is the naturopathic oncological day clinic, which we conduct in close cooperation with the Clinic for Naturopathy & Integrative Medicine. In the day clinic, we offer people with cancer help for self-help and point out sources from which they can draw strength. To specifically address your different needs in various phases of treatment, this group program is offered in different formats:
- For patients during systemic therapy (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and antibody therapy)
- After completion of acute treatment
- During anti-hormonal therapy
- For patients in advanced stages of the disease
The treatment programs consist of eleven units (six hours each) and are led by our mind-body medicine therapists. Each treatment unit includes a medical round as well as various information and training units on the topics of relaxation, nutrition, exercise, and coping with the illness.
