Dear patients, relatives, and loved ones,
dear interested parties,

Thank you for your interest in our clinic. We would like to provide you with insights into our care services and activities. The task of palliative medicine is the accompaniment and comprehensive care of people with an advanced, incurable disease. Our goals: to maintain and, as far as possible, improve the quality of life of patients, to alleviate physical and psychological symptoms, and to provide support with social and spiritual-existential questions. The autonomy of those affected is the focus of our support. We include relatives and loved ones in the care and support.

Depending on the situation, care by our multiprofessional team is provided on an outpatient basis in the palliative medicine day clinic, as an inpatient on our palliative care ward, or as part of the palliative care consultation service in addition to treatment in another specialist department. Palliative care in the home environment is possible through the SAPV.

Together, we ensure continuity and reliability in the medical and psychosocial care of patients and their relatives. On our website, we would like to give you an overview of our activities in all areas. Early integration of palliative care into treatment is beneficial. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us; we will take time for you and your relatives and loved ones.

Yours,
Eva Reumkens
