About the Department of Hematology & Stem Cell Transplantation
Our certified department is one of the leading hematology centers in North Rhine-Westphalia. Alongside the highest level of medical expertise, compassionate care and individualized treatment planning are central to our approach.
We treat all hematologic malignancies such as leukemias and lymphomas. Another focus is the diagnosis and treatment of non-malignant disorders of the blood and coagulation system.
Not least because we often care for our patients over many years – in some cases for decades – we pursue a holistic, interdisciplinary, patient-centered treatment philosophy, with the goal of providing medically excellent care that is also compassionate and attentive.
